JULY NEWSLETTER
With our meeting changes, unfortunately the due date for our newsletter article was before our June meeting.
Believe it or not our poker run is just around the corner, August 13, 14, & 15. Come and join us for a whole weekend of fun at Jim-n-I Campground in West Springfield. Camping, Saturday poker run, bands, vendors, refreshments, bike games.....with a bunch of people that know how to have a good time. Thanks to those who have volunteered in the past. We need volunteers for gate admittance, security, and Sunday clean up, please consider giving 2-4 hours of your time to help the chapter. Tim has lined up the entertainment for the weekend..Friday bands are Burning House and Easy Street, Saturday will be Refuge and Leader of Men.
District 1's Little Black Books are now available for $5.00. This is a year long event, with 35 stops through out Venango, Mercer, Warren, Crawford and Erie Counties. For more information or to get a book contact an officer, or come to a meeting.
Hope you all were able to make it to the polls to vote in the primary. Unfortunately Daryl Metcalf didn't garner enough votes, but he ran a good campaign. A.B.A.T.E. of PA had a sucessful Right Rally, our chapter was able to donate $1,000 to BIKEPAC. Thanks to all Erie County members who were able to attend.
Tickets sales are going slow this year.....help support your chapter. We surely appreciate all those who are getting them sold. If every member was able to just sell 10, we'd be way ahead of the game. Please turn in sold tickets as soon as you can.
Enjoy the 4th of July holiday, and we'll see you at the meeting Monday, July 5th @ 7:00pm at Valley Inn.
